Breaking the cycles of poverty - Tips on how to make and save money
1. Saving money is harder when you are poor and that’s not your fault. It’s not that you’re undisciplined. It’s that your income is too low You can’t save what doesn’t exist. So the problem isn’t just saving , it’s earning more.; 2. You don’t save money by cutting out just small expenses. The little expenses aren’t the problem it’s the big ones. Rent, lifestyle, loans, and habits.Focus on fixing the real leaks, not feeling guilty over small joys.; 3. Most people save what’s left after spending and that’s why they never save. Flip it. Save first, spend what’s left.;, It’s the only way saving becomes consistent.; 4. If your money isn’t going into a separate account, it’s not really saved. Out of sight = out of mind. Move your savings into a different place. Make it harder to touch.; 5. Saving money won’t make you rich. But it will buy you freedom.Savings won’t build wealth. But it gives you breathing room… So you can take risks, start something new, or survive a storm.; 6. If you don’t set a goal for your savings, you will spend it anyhow. ,Saving “just in case” is fine. But it’s better when there’s a target: • Emergency fund • Business capital • Travel • Investment Money with a purpose is money you will protect.; 7. You don’t need to start big.you just need to start. Even GHC 5 a day adds up. The habit matters more than the amount in the beginning.; 8. Bonus: Saving isn’t the final step. it’s the first. Save. Then invest. Then grow. That’s how you break the cycle.; 8. Bonus: Saving isn’t the final step. it’s the first. Save.; Then invest. Then grow. That’s how you break the cycle.
